Mangalyaan: Oru Shastragnante Kurippukal—my book on India's Mars mission—had won the 2015 Science Literature Award for the best book in Popular Science category, instituted by Kerala State Council for Science, Technology and Environment (KSCSTE), Kerala Government.
Received Kerala Govt.'s Science Journalism Award 2015 for the book on Mangalyaan, at a function held at Kerala Science Congress 2017, Thiruvalla.
